Engagement photos on our beaches
A couples or engagement session with Locals Photo is 45 minutes on a Destin, Miramar Beach or 30A beach, with 40+ edited photos for $395. Most couples book the hour before sunset for soft light, but daytime slots are open too. If you're planning a wedding with us, the engagement session is already included.
Where should we take engagement photos?
Dune walkovers and sea oats on 30A give a natural backdrop. Inlet Beach has wide open sand, and quieter Miramar Beach accesses work well on a weeknight.

Pick one light and one mid tone, avoid busy logos and bring flat shoes for the sand. Ask us if you want a second outfit.
What if we're awkward on camera?
We give simple prompts: walk, talk and hold still at the water line. Most of the good frames come between poses.
Is it windy?
An afternoon sea breeze is common in summer. Tie long hair back for the walk down and let it loose for the last shots. Light flowy fabric photographs well in wind.

How much is an engagement session?+
$395 for 45 minutes and 40+ edited photos. A $200 non-refundable deposit holds the date and goes toward the total.
Is an engagement session included with a wedding?+
Yes. Every wedding package includes one.
When do we get our photos?+
Usually 5 to 10 business days, in an online gallery with print rights. Faster delivery is available for an extra fee. Larger engagement shoots can take up to a month.
